He lived in or near what is now West Newbury, where some of his descendants may still be found. He had twelve children, all born at Newbury: John (b. 1645); Samuel (b. 1646); Ruth (b. 1648), married Benjamin Morse of Newbury 1667; Mary (1650-1659); Sarah (b. 1651), married Joshua Browne of Newbury 1669; Hannah (1654-1660); William (b. 1656); Frances (1658- 1660); Mary (1660-1699), married John Emery of Newbury 1683; Stephen (b. 1663); Hannah (1665-1683); and Frances (b. 1670). Descendants live in Massachusetts and elsewhere.
