In the absence of ample employment opportunities, the unprecedented youth bulge is emerging as a severe threat to the socio-economic development particularly in developing countries. In this backdrop, the present work explores the issues of youth employment based on the empirical evidences from the state of Jammu and Kashmir in North India.
