Book excerpt: A recent two-year research study compared clean-and-seal asphalt pavement crack repairs to rout-and-seal repairs. The life-cycle cost analysis found rout-and-seal repairs to be slightly more cost-effective. Researchers also developed two decision trees for selecting a repair method. This project will help implement the results of that study by developing an easy-to-use quick reference guide summarizing the results of the study and an informational video on the crack-sealing techniques.
