He taught at Dasher Bible School and Simpson College, and for 20 years served as Minister of the Church of Christ in California, Alaska, Georgia and New York. His final 20-year Ministry was in Ames, Iowa, as Senior Minister of First Christian Church, serving on Local, Regional and National levels of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
