Patrol officer Lt. William Dennis, Boat Captain RM1 Scott Delph, and GMG2 Patrick Ford were killed in this action. GMG2 Patrick Ford was captured after he got the other two wounded crew members off before beaching the boat. His body was recovered later that day by a sweep of Popular Forces and he was awarded the Navy Cross posthumously for his heroic actions".
