Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Beginnings of College History: An Address Delivered at the Massachusetts Agricultural College, Amherst, Oct, 2, 1907 But time fails me to recount all the great services rendered by this ancient society to the cause of agriculture, and the inspiration it has given to the cause of agricultural education.
